Review:
The location is great , close to the ski lift. Beautiful wellness area where bathing suits are prohibited which is normal. However, Thursday there was a group walking around in swimwear, which meant we could no longer use the steam bath because everyone was in it in swimwear. There were also people in swimwear on other days, but less. The check-in took a very long time, there was only one person at the reception. The breakfast was nearly perfect, the dinner was much less. Leftovers from the days before always came back at the salad buffet and dessert. Very poor dinner at all. Sometimes everything buffet , sometimes soup and main course served at the table. The waiter poured our wine the first evenings, the other evenings we had to serve it ourselves. The tables were not always clean. In our room, there were still clothes from previous guests in the closet. We put them with the towels on the floor the next day. I especially missed the delicious food after a day of skiing. tip : place a mat behind the door where people enter the hotel after having put off their ski boots.

However, we are very sorry that you were not satisfied with some aspects of your stay and that your expectations – particularly regarding dinner, cleanliness, and service – were not met. We take your comments about the behavior in the wellness area, the inconsistency in enforcing the swimwear policy, and the situation at check-in and with housekeeping very seriously. Cleanliness is of utmost importance to us, which is why we sincerely apologize that clothing from previous guests was left in the closet. The changes in service at dinner, as well as the cleanliness and preparation of the tables during meals, did not meet our standards, nor did the selection and presentation of the buffet. We are very sorry that you felt the service was lacking. We appreciate your suggestion regarding a floor mat at the hotel entrance to further enhance comfort after a day on the slopes. The hotel location was excellent, right by the ski gondola. The first room allocated had no view at all (faced a wall) was small and a strange layout. We didn't like it and had paid for a superior room. The reception said they allocate these rooms to tour operators. We asked to move and they did move us to a new room which was great and facing a nice view of the town/mountain, larger and better layout. Why they did not do this first time I don't know. Caused hassle for us to unpack and move and a disappointing start to the trip. We liked dinner, (half board) the food was good, the staff were friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Barbara was excellent and Christian on the bar great and knew his wine very well to make nice recommendations. The spa was nice, clean, easy to use and relaxing, which we used daily after skiing. Overall we had an excellent break.
