And this is how it works:

Your reservation must be made on or and the claim must be verified by our customer care team.

The best price guarantee therefore applies under the following conditions:

  • You have made a room reservation at or
  • Within 24 hours of your booking, you will find the offer cheaper on another online portal
  • The other booking data (arrival and departure dates, persons traveling/beneficiaries) are identical in relation to the comparative offer
  • All other booking conditions are identical with regard to the settlement offer
  • The comparison offer is available online and is not older than 24 hours after your booking request has been received by Pletzer Resorts
  • The net price, i.e. excluding taxes, gratuities or other fees associated with the room rate, is to be used as the comparative price within the framework of the best price guarantee

The best price guarantee does not apply to the following price types:

  • The cheaper comparison offer is not a discount, voucher or promotion and is not part of a loyalty or other reward program
  • The best price guarantee is not granted for obvious price errors, so-called "error fares" of the other online portal
  • Qualifying discount rates for members of special programs or associations (e.g. ADAC and ÖAMTC members, seniors, government employees, loyalty programs, employee discounts);
  • Special "exclusive offers" or "online vouchers" or promotional emails that are not intended for the general public;
  • Rates not available to the public , for example negotiated group or corporate rates, including extended stay rates for groups;
  • Offer prices that relate to the room and other components, such as parking, travel, car rental, entertainment or meals, excluding breakfast;
  • Prices found on unclear websites or websites for auctions and auctions where neither the hotel brand nor the specific hotel or hotel location are known and are only indicated when the booking is made. Examples of this are Priceline-type websites and similar sites;
  • All other unpublished or private prizes or websites for which registration is required.

Comparative prices

The comparison price must be on a website where it can be booked by the general public and which is not the or website. In addition, this price must have been found within 24 hours of booking your hotel room on or and at least 48 hours before your arrival date before midnight according to the hotel's local time. 

The comparison rate must be for the same hotel, the same reservation dates, the same room category (i.e. room size and amenities), the same number of guests and the same currency as in the confirmation email from or It must also have the same prepayment and refund policies and restrictions. 
The comparison price must still be available at the time the customer service department checks the complaint, whereby suitable documentation of the comparison offer at the time of booking, such as a screenshot, is sufficient.

Prices are compared as net prices excluding taxes, gratuities or other charges associated with the room rate. If the price on or includes taxes, we will check whether the total cost of your comparison price is lower so that the price comparison reflects the correct ratio. Price differences due solely to rounding, fluctuations or different exchange rates are excluded from the Best Price Guarantee. Claims will be rejected if the difference between the comparison price and the price on or www.das is less than 1 USD, 1 EUR or 1 GBP or the equivalent in the local currency of the hotel.

If the claim covers several consecutive nights, the prices are checked based on the average price of the total stay (the total number of consecutive nights of the same guest or guests in the same hotel, regardless of the number of check-ins and check-outs or separate reservations). Comparison rates that refer to only part of the reservation will be considered invalid.

If your reservation meets these criteria, please inform us using the appropriate claims form. Customer Service will check whether the price meets all the conditions of our Best Price Guarantee and will contact you by email. Once it has been confirmed that your claim can be made, you will receive the lower price with a further 25% discount. For pre-paid bookings, the difference will be charged back to the relevant credit card by the hotel. You may only submit one claim per stay.

If a new reservation confirmation number is given for the new price, this must be presented at check-in at the hotel.

The best price guarantee is invalid where prohibited by law, in particular where Pletzer Resorts is not permitted to grant it for reasons of competition law.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Best Price Guarantee at any time without notice. We reserve the sole right to determine whether any claim may be made or whether a price qualifies as a comparable price or a claim meets the conditions set forth herein. All disputes arising out of the Best Price Guarantee will be handled individually, without class action, and subject to the terms of the Website User Agreement at or The terms of the Best Price Guarantee shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Austria. If the comparison price is obtained through a website other than or we are not responsible for any fees or other charges that may be incurred as a result of canceling this reservation.

Who do I contact if I find a cheaper price on another website?
