Accessibility Statement
Accessibility is important to us
Declaration on accessibility
Pletzer Resorts Bayrischzell GmbH, HRB 249778, Kranzerstraße 6, D-83735 Bayrischzell endeavors to ensure that its website www.dasbayrischzell.de/en/ in accordance national legal regulations and in-ternational guidelines on accessibility, in particular the Accessibility Act (BaFG) implementing the Eu-ropean Accessibility Directive Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services (EEA), to ensure that people with and without disabilities can use the information and functions of our website without restriction.
This website is currently undergoing a relaunch process in accordance with the WCAG 2.1 AA guide-lines
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.dasbayrischzell.de/en/ and its subdomains.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is partially compliant with the requirements of the Accessibility Act (BaFG) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA. We are constantly working to improve accessibility.
Implementation will take place within the transitional provisions of Section 37 (2) BaFG.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not barrier-free for the following reasons:
a) Incompatibility with accessibility regulations
The alternative text is missing for some images, meaning that this information is not accessible to screen reader users. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content) is not met. We are planning to relaunch the website. All new images will then be published together with alternative texts.
The subtitles are missing for some recorded videos, meaning that the spoken content is not available for deaf users. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.2 (subtitles recorded) is not met. We plan to add subtitles to all new videos with the relaunch of the website.
For some visual representations of text and images of text, the contrast ratio does not meet the WCAG success criterion 1.4.3 (contrast). With the relaunch of the website, we plan to add changea-ble contrast modes to all new visual representations of text and images of text.
With some texts, the text is occasionally overlaid or obscured at 200% zoom. This means that the WCAG success criterion 1.4.4 (change text size) is not fulfilled. With the relaunch of the website, we plan to make all new texts, with the exception of subtitles and images of a text, resizable by up to 200% without the need for assisting technology, without losing content or functionality.
Please let us know if you have any difficulties with specific documents. We will make the content ac-cessible on request and supplement the documents with accessible alternatives. For new documents, we endeavor to make them accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.1 and PDF/UA-compliant before publication. Publication of non-accessible documents, such as print versions, will be marked as such.
b) Disproportionate burden
Some of our videos are hosted and published on the video platform "Youtube". It is not possible to provide the required audio descriptions for some of these videos. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (audio description recorded) is not met. We plan to provide alternatives for time-based media (text) instead of audio descriptions.
c) The contents do not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation
Many older PDF documents and Word documents are not accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged so that screen reader users cannot read and use them properly or at all. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not met.
After the relaunch of the website, we plan to take into account the accessibility requirements ac-cording to WCAG 2.1 for new PDF and Word documents.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This declaration was created on April 08, 2025.
